1. Who we are

2. What we collect

When you use the "Request a call back" form we ask for:

• who the lessons are for, the language you want to learn, your current level, the learner's age and your goals;
• your name, phone number, preferred way and time to be contacted, and your time zone;
• your email address, only if you choose to give it;
• your consent, including parental or guardian consent if the learner is under 18.

If you message us on WhatsApp or by email, we receive whatever you choose to send, including your phone number or email address.

3. Why we collect it

We use this information only to:

• call or message you back about lessons;
• plan a suitable trial or first lesson;
• reply to your questions.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

4. Nothing is stored on the website

The website does not keep a database of form submissions. When you send the form, it is checked for spam and emailed straight to us. We keep that email only for as long as we need it to deal with your request and any lessons that follow: [RETENTION PERIOD, e.g. 12 MONTHS after our last contact]. After that we delete it.

5. Who handles your information

To run the site and the form we use these operators, who process information on our behalf:

• Cloudflare, which hosts the website, runs spam protection (Turnstile) and provides cookieless website statistics;
• [EMAIL SENDING SERVICE, e.g. RESEND], which delivers the form email to us;
• [EMAIL PROVIDER, e.g. GOOGLE (GMAIL)], where we receive and keep our email;
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to contact us there.

Some of these providers store information outside South Africa. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to POPIA.

6. Cookies and statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across websites. It counts visits, and we also count how often the WhatsApp, email and call-back buttons are used and how many call-back requests are sent, without recording who you are. 7. Children and parental consent

We teach learners from age 6. If the learner is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must submit the form or consent to it, and the consent box on the form confirms this. We collect only the minimum needed about a child: their age and learning goals.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct or delete it;
• stop using it, or withdraw your consent at any time.

Email us at hello@mendeseducation.co.za and we will respond within [RESPONSE TIME, e.g. 30 DAYS]. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
